Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections/ Regenerative Injection Therapy
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections have become increasingly popular in recent years as a treatment option for various conditions, including sports injuries, osteoarthritis, hair loss and aesthetic treatments to decrease the appearance of aging. PRP treatments involve injection of a patient's own concentrated platelets into an injured area of the body, location of hair loss or desired location of aesthetic enhancement in order to stimulate healing and tissue regeneration.
Platelets are a type of cell found in the blood that play a crucial role in the body's natural healing process. When a tissue is damaged, platelets are among the first cells to arrive at the site of injury. They release growth factors and other proteins that help to promote healing and tissue repair.
PRP is extracted from a small amount of the patient's own blood, typically from their arm. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelets from other blood components such as red and white blood cells. The resulting concentrated platelets, or platelet-rich plasma, are then injected into the desired area of healing and regeneration.
The procedure is minimally invasive and can be completed in a doctor's office in under an hour. Patients may experience some discomfort or pain at the injection site, but this usually resolves quickly.

• Aesthetic: Is used in combination with microneedling to decrease fine lines, wrinkles, pore size and heal scar tissue. Under eye treatment to manage dark circles/tired eyes and in combo or by itself as a filler to help contour the face.
PRP injections are generally considered safe, as they use the patient's own blood. There is little risk of an allergic reaction or infection. However, as with any medical procedure, there are some risks and potential side effects, including bleeding, infection, and nerve damage.
